Kaikai YOKAI Festival 2026 at Uzumasa Eigamura

Tachibana Movie Village (Ukyo-ku, Kyoto City) will hold its first autumn event after the renovation, the third annual 'Mysterious YOKAI Festival,' from September 12 (Saturday) to November 29 (Sunday). This year's theme is 'Dance! Amazing!' and it will evolve into a vibrant Oni Yurei parade with dance elements. The event will feature a new form of yōkai entertainment set in the renovated Edo town of the movie village. The choreography for the Japanese cultural symbols of yōkai will be handled by TERUPOP.

The dance culture that is popular worldwide will be integrated, and it will present a new side of yōkai that is full of energy. The entire Edo town will become a stage for yōkai entertainment, and you can enjoy a new 'Japanese Halloween' that can only be experienced at the movie village.
