About J-FOMO

J-FOMO is a calendar of limited-time releases, campaigns and events in Japan: ichiban kuji, convenience-store collaborations, seasonal menus, collab cafes, pop-up shops, goshuin and more. Everything on it has an end date or an end condition, because the point is knowing what is running now and what you are about to miss.

How it is made

• Only official announcements. Every drop is compiled from the public announcement of the company, shop, temple, shrine or venue that runs it, and links back to it.
• Japanese is the record. We keep the title exactly as published. The title shown in the language you choose is a rendering, produced by a translation model and checked automatically; where the two differ, the Japanese governs.
• Dates are never guessed. All dates are Japan Standard Time. "Until sold out" is shown as a condition, not turned into a date. When a source only says "October", we say October.
• Images stay with their owners. Pictures are shown by linking to the official source and are credited on every page.
• Sources are treated politely. Sites are checked slowly, their robots rules are followed, and any site that asks not to be included is not.

What it is not

J-FOMO is independent and unofficial. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for any brand, retailer, franchise, rights holder, temple, shrine or venue that appears on it. Product names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to say which drop is which. The official announcement is always the authority: check it before you travel or spend money.

Who runs it

J-FOMO is operated by L Doctor Citizen LLC, a New Mexico limited liability company, from Albuquerque, New Mexico. It is a small independent project.
