Asahi Beer Co., Ltd. will launch the premium tequila '1800 Guachimonton' on November 25. '1800 Guachimonton' is a premium tequila made with 100% blue agave grown in the fertile red soil fields of the World Heritage Site 'Los Guachimontes'. It is aged for more than 12 months in American oak barrels, then further aged in orange tequila liqueur barrels. It has a distinctive aroma of fresh citrus orange, honey, and caramel, and offers a pleasant bitterness and a long, refreshing orange flavor aftertaste.

The bottle is made of ceramic in a deep red color that reflects the red soil where the blue agave used in this product is grown. The cap has a design that evokes the circular pyramid of 'Los Guachimontes'. It will be promoted in bars and high-end restaurants, suggesting ways to enjoy it straight, on the rocks, or as a Mexican old fashioned with tequila as the base.
