What it is
A limited-edition chahan (fried rice) created in collaboration with Sapporo's renowned restaurant 'Sumire' is now available. This dish uses Hokkaido rice and features a scorched soy sauce aroma and the richness of lard. It will be available at 7-Eleven stores in Hokkaido starting October 20 (Tuesday). The chahan was developed under the supervision of Sumire's owner, Nobuyoshi Nishinaka. It uses tamari soy sauce to bring out the rich umami of the soy sauce itself. The rice is stir-fried with the scorched flavor of tamari soy sauce, enhancing the appetite-stimulating aroma.
