To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the establishment of Naganawa Town, Naganawa Town Station and Sendai Izumi Premium Outlets are collaborating on a new tour campaign that combines shopping and Sanriku tourism. The campaign will run from October 17, 2026 (Saturday) to January 31, 2027 (Sunday). This campaign is a joint effort between Naganawa Town Station and Sendai Izumi Premium Outlets to promote regional revitalization and encourage travel within Miyagi Prefecture. The campaign includes a lottery with prizes such as local products and shopping coupons. Naganawa Town will celebrate its 100th anniversary of establishment in 2026.

In conjunction with this milestone, the town station and Sendai Izumi Premium Outlets will implement a tour campaign. Naganawa Town has a history of collaboration with Mitsubishi Estate, and Sendai Izumi Premium Outlets is located next to the Shizukana Park Town Tapiyo, a commercial facility of the same Mitsubishi Estate group. The town's shopping street has a sister city agreement with Shizukana Park Town Tapiyo. The campaign aims to promote regional revitalization by combining shopping and tourism, and to highlight the charm of both the Sendai urban area and the Sanriku area. Campaign Details During the campaign period, visitors to Naganawa Town Station will receive coupons and lottery entry opportunities for Sendai Izumi Premium Outlets. Visitors to Sendai Izumi Premium Outlets will receive discount tickets for Naganawa Town Station. The campaign period is from October 17, 2026 (Saturday) to January 31, 2027 (Sunday). The locations are Naganawa Town Station and Sendai Izumi Premium Outlets. For visitors to Naganawa Town Station: - Present the coupon with the ticket at the information center of Sendai Izumi Premium Outlets to receive a discount sheet for shopping. - Participate in a lottery for prizes such as shopping coupons, Mitsubishi Estate Group gift cards, and a set of local salmon products. - Customers who use PO PAY on the same day can participate in the lottery an additional time. For visitors to Sendai Izumi Premium Outlets: - Present a receipt for purchases of 5,000 yen (tax included) at the information center to receive a discount ticket for Naganawa Town Station. - Customers who use PO PAY on the same day will receive an additional discount ticket. The discount ticket includes a free bath pass for Yutampo and a 200-yen coupon for use at Naganawa Town Station. However, the discount ticket will be available only to the first 500 customers.
