What it is
A collaboration between the Kyoto Railway Museum and the TV anime '20th Century Electric Catalog - Eureka Seven -' brings a special event to the museum. This autumn, the museum will host an exhibition featuring the characters and themes from the anime. The event will run from October 22, 2026 (Thursday) to January 5, 2027 (Tuesday). 1. The museum's largest original illustration will be displayed at the main entrance. The illustration, created by Kyoto Animation, will feature Sato Yoosuke and the roundhouse.

The artistic background, reminiscent of impressionist paintings, will be on display. 2. 50 flags will be placed throughout the museum, including in the roundhouse, Promenade, and Twilight Plaza. 3. A stamp rally will be held throughout the museum. The first 5000 participants will receive a special illustration card. Each participant will receive one card. 4. Life-sized panels of the main characters, including Sato Yoosuke, will be displayed in the 80 series car and the Sushi 28 dining car. 5. Commemorative headmarks will be displayed on the SL Steam Train and the C62 26 steam locomotive at the Promenade. 6. The museum's display guide banners will be colored with Sato Yoosuke's theme. A special exhibition titled 'Kyoto in the Meiji to Taisho Periods and Steam Locomotives' will be held on the first floor near the EF52 electric locomotive. The exhibition will feature scenes and words from the anime, along with displays about steam locomotives and station buildings. The TV anime '20th Century Electric Catalog - Eureka Seven -' is set in an alternate history of early 20th century Kyoto, where steam engines dominate. A boy who lost his brother and a girl with deep faith explore the secrets of the '20th Century Electric Catalog' and overcome their pasts to pursue their dreams. The anime is available worldwide on Netflix.
