'Midnight Diner' and 'Kamome Diner' Exhibition: 20 Years of Food Stylist Nami Iijima

This exhibition will look back on Nami Ijima's 20 years of food styling, focusing on these two 'dining' places. The exhibition will display photos of the world of movies and dramas, and in the 'Late Night Dining' corner, the 'art' used in the actual filming will also be brought in. A corner where you can eat the dishes in the style of 'Meshiya' will also be prepared. Come and enjoy an exhibition that will fill your stomach and heart. <Enjoy the 'Late Night Dining' corner> 'Late Night Dining' is a story set in a small restaurant 'Meshiya' in a corner of the busy street. It is open from midnight to around 7 a.m., and the menu is only pork and miso soup and alcohol. Otherwise, the master, played by Koharu Kobayashi, will make any dish if possible. The first series was broadcast in October 2009. After being adapted into a movie and being available on Netflix, the TV drama series returns after 7 years! While looking forward to the broadcast that will start during this period, we will provide a space where you can experience the world of the drama 'Late Night Dining' a little. <Enjoyment 1: Display photos that convey the atmosphere of the movie.> We have specially borrowed some of the art sets used in the actual filming, such as the entrance curtain and the 'Meshi' lantern of 'Meshiya'! We will display them in the venue as they are. In addition, some signs from the shop street where 'Meshiya' is located are also planned to be brought in. <Enjoyment 2: Re-create the 'U' shaped counter! You can eat and drink here.> We will create the 'U' shaped counter, which is an impression of 'Meshiya' in the venue. You can also enjoy the menus sold during the exhibition period and the dishes provided in the event (pre-registration required) in this area. <Enjoyment of the 'Gull Dining' corner> 'Gull Dining' is a hit movie directed by Naoko Ogami, released in 2006. It is a story about Sachi, the owner of a small restaurant in the capital of Finland, Helsinki, and the daily life of her friends and the colorful customers who gather there. The dishes in this movie look very delicious and are very impressive. 'I want to meet the person who made this dish!' So we asked for an interview, and that was the beginning of Nami Ijima and Houbunsha's encounter. <Enjoyment 1: Display photos that convey the atmosphere of the movie.> We will display still photos of 'Gull Dining' taken by photographer Yoko Takahashi.
