Don't miss the solo exhibition of the artist duo MES, who are gaining attention both domestically and internationally, and who are scheduled to hold a solo exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles in February 2027. MES has been active since 2015, focusing on contemporary art and club culture. They have been conducting performances and installations, as well as working as a laser VJ in various clubs in Shibuya, moving between various cultures such as music and fashion. The style of MES is to sensitively perceive the changes in the city and the times, and to respond to them sharply using various technologies and the body. Starting with 'SA-I' (2021) at the Reborn Art Festival 2021 summer, 'TA-I' (2022), 'GA-I' (2023), 'DA-I' (2024), 'KA-I' (2025), and so on, the artist duo MES has been developing a series of works that layer various meanings from a single word. In this solo exhibition 'RE-I', words that are read as 'REI' such as zero (0)/spirit/cold/Ray (ray)/layer/raze/subject/order/ancient/beautiful, will be used to collect the forgotten history of Shibuya and reflect it into the modern age through physical actions. <Opening Talk Event> MES x Chim↑Pom from Smappa!Group Location: PARCO MUSEUM TOKYO (4F Shibuya PARCO) Date and Time: November 8 (Sun) 15:00-16:30 Admission: Free.
