This exhibition is a re-presentation of the feelings we have swallowed, and an antithesis to the discomfort we have never put into words. It is not to attack someone. Nor to neatly conclude. It is an expression to protect myself. You probably have it too. 'To the one who hurt me.' ABOUT | ChiMy (Chaimi) Illustrator and DJ. Born in 1992. From Himeji City, Hyogo Prefecture. Started as an illustrator in 2013. She is dedicated to analog expression with copic markers on paper, and her delicate and emotional style has provided artwork for brands, media, and artists both in Japan and abroad. The words that accompany her hand-drawn illustrations sharply cut into the subtleties of inner feelings and human relationships, gaining strong empathy from women of all generations. Her book 'I'm Sorry for Being Like This' is a collection of 70 illustrations and poems, which was serialized on NetViVi and later published as a book. It was announced at an exhibition at BOOK MARC and has become her representative work. She currently operates and curates her own gallery 'THE LITTLE ROOM' in her hometown, Himeji, and also works as a DJ. She is expanding her expression through both art and music.
